Getting started
What do HRC Surrogacy and HRC Fertility each do?
HRC Surrogacy provides communication, surrogate matching, and project coordination, not medical care. HRC Fertility handles fertility consultation, examinations, assessment, medication, and treatment.
We coordinate contacts, records, and appointments; treating obstetric clinicians and hospitals provide pregnancy and delivery care. Relevant providers explain legal, insurance, and funding matters, with service scope defined by agreement.
Can I start matching immediately if I have embryos?
Describe the storing clinic, records, and receiving requirements first. Existing embryos do not remove clinical assessment, carrier screening, or legal preparation.
The relevant people must check prerequisites before matching. For embryos elsewhere, confirm acceptance and release before discussing specialist transport, not ordinary shipping.
Must I send medical or identity records initially?
Begin with embryo or treatment status, location, and questions. Provide detailed records later after confirming recipient, purpose, and secure channels.
Do not post full medical, identity, or account records in comments, groups, or unknown forms. Initial inquiries should summarize without sensitive attachments.
Should I finish all tests before consulting?
Do not complete an online checklist on your own. Organize existing results and questions, then ask HRC about missing items, local results, validity, and format.
Clinicians determine usability and additional tests; service staff do not interpret abnormal results in place of doctors.
What can I learn before deciding to start?
Choose the existing-embryo or no-embryo route, then review the process, costs, and legal responsibilities. Record uncertainties as questions; you need not decide everything in the first conversation.
Clarify who assesses, which records are needed, and what comes next. General information or estimates are not personal plans.
How can I contact you or submit an inquiry?
On the contact page, name and phone are required; email and WeChat are optional. Stage, interests, and a message are optional. Success displays confirmation. You may also email [email protected]. Do not send medical, identity, or account records.
We handle surrogacy services and coordination inquiries; HRC handles fertility consultation, evaluation, and treatment.
Screening and matching
Does passing screening mean transfer is approved?
Not necessarily. Initial records review, medical or psychological assessment, mutual acceptance, and final medical and legal preparation are different matters.
Ask which work is complete, who decides, and which conditions remain. Screening does not guarantee future medical results.
Can I decline a candidate introduction?
Matching involves mutual understanding, questions, and voluntary choice. An introduction or meeting is not acceptance and does not replace agreements or evaluations.
Further service and costs after declining depend on the actual rules. A package name does not establish unlimited introductions or automatic refunds.
Why is transfer not immediate after a match?
Additional evaluations, agreements, insurance, funds, and clinic requirements may remain. Each responsible provider confirms their part; verbal interest is not every approval.
Clinicians arrange medication and transfer. Coordinate travel without independently starting or changing treatment.
What happens after an unsuccessful transfer?
HRC first explains the result and evaluates medical options; project personnel cannot decide on repeat treatment. Then review medical, matching, agreement, and budget effects.
Another transfer, rematching, and withdrawal may have different rules. Ask about completed services, repeated costs, additional assessments, and document updates.
Costs and payments
Must all fees be paid at once?
Contracts and payees determine milestones. Medical, service, attorney, insurance, and fund-management fees may be separate; one quote is not necessarily the whole budget.
Verify service, payee, amount, and conditions before each payment and retain evidence. Recheck changed accounts or unclear instructions through verified channels.
Does an all-inclusive quote mean no extra costs?
Read inclusions and exclusions rather than relying on the label. Separate fixed service fees, actual expenses, and other providers’ charges.
Check repeated evaluations, another transfer, rematching, insurance gaps, and travel changes. Compare estimates for the same pathway and scope.
How are refunds reviewed after withdrawal?
Separately reconcile completed work, incurred third-party costs, unused funds, and outstanding bills; different settlement rules may apply.
Request statements, conditions, application steps, and procedures. Ask an attorney to explain documents if needed. Applicable service documents and payee rules govern refunds and settlement.
Law and documents
Can single people or same-sex couples inquire?
You can explore general information. Medical, surrogacy, and parentage routes require assessment of family circumstances, gamete sources, relevant states, and residence-country rules.
Do not infer eligibility from another family or clinic location. Explain your circumstances to clinicians and attorneys before starting. Legal pages remain consultation outlines awaiting attorney review.
Does HRC treatment mean California law governs the entire project?
Clinic location alone is insufficient. Attorneys may consider carrier residence, delivery location, family circumstances, and other connections.
A licensed attorney must confirm location and individual route. The California page is a review checklist, not a personal eligibility determination.
How do parentage documents, birth certificates, and travel documents differ?
They address legal parenthood, birth registration, and travel or admission respectively and cannot replace each other.
Completing one does not automatically finish the others. International clients must check recognition, registration, and documents where they live; birth location does not guarantee nationality or return timing.
Timing and travel
How long does the whole process take?
Records, medical preparation, matching, agreements, insurance, travel, and administration affect progress and can overlap.
A stage plan is more useful: current status, prerequisites, responsible people, and the next update. We help track the stage and pending matters; timing changes with actual conditions.
How many US trips and days are usually needed?
Consultations, birth, and documents may require different attendance. Clinicians, attorneys, hospitals, and authorities confirm separately; another person’s visits or stay are not a personal standard.
Check bookings and change terms. Medical changes, infant health, and documents can affect return travel.
Who explains pregnancy test results?
The responsible clinical team explains results and care. We coordinate times and records, not medical judgments or treatment changes.
Health information sharing requires appropriate authorization. Use local medical and emergency channels for urgency rather than waiting for ordinary or cross-time-zone customer service.
