- HRC Fertility medical costs
HRC Fertility explains medical fees based on the treatment arrangements. Possible items include consultations, evaluations, embryo preparation, laboratory work, storage, medication, transfer, and related follow-up. If embryos are stored elsewhere, also ask about release, specialist transport, and receipt.
Which items apply and whether they are billed separately depend on the medical plan and the provider’s estimate. Another transfer or a change in treatment may lead to additional costs.
- Surrogacy services and carrier-related expenses
Ask what matching and coordination work is included, when the service starts and ends, and which expenses are paid to other parties. Separate the service fee from compensation, allowances, travel, or lost-income expenses that may apply under the relevant agreements.
Review what happens if a candidate withdraws, an evaluation changes the arrangements, or a new match is needed. Rematching and another embryo transfer are different events with potentially different terms.
- Legal, insurance, and fund-management costs
The relevant professionals explain their scope and fees. Ask about attorney representation, agreements, parentage procedures, policy review, premiums, deductibles, uncovered costs, and account-management charges.
The carrier’s pregnancy-related coverage and the baby’s medical coverage need separate consideration. Funds held in reserve are not the same as expenses already incurred. Clarify payment approvals, statements, replenishment, and unused balances.
- Travel and arrangements after birth
Allow for medical visits, delivery plans, accommodation changes, local travel, the baby’s care, and applicable document work. The number of visits and length of stay depend on the individual medical and project arrangements. Discharge and document progress may affect the return date.
Request a clear written estimate
Tell us your embryo status and the services you are considering. We discuss surrogacy service scope and costs; HRC Fertility’s relevant team explains its medical estimate.
- Identify the currency, payee, included and excluded items, and validity period.
- Separate fixed fees from estimates and reserve funds.
- Confirm the conditions for each payment.
- Ask how additional medical work, rematching, a pause, or ending the project affects charges and remaining funds.
The applicable written agreements govern charges and settlement.
